INFORMATION SHEET
TOURNAMENT
Only full scale golf tournament for the disabled in Japan. 36 hole stroke play(scratch tournament). Players compete in 9 divisions :
1.upper limb disability
2.lower limb disability
3.multiple disability
4.mild disability
5.wheel chair
6.visual disability
7.mental disability
8.people recovered from stroke
9.Grand Prix.
Each division has to have participation of at least five players to hold competition. Top three players of each division will be prized. The winner of Grand Prix division will be awarded as the Champion of Japan Open.
First-time participants will have an interview with committee members after the Eve Festival on October 24th to decide the division to take part.

COURSE
Manna Country Club Gary Player Course:
A private club with 18 holes beautiful golf course designed by a renowned golfer, Gary
Player. Ponds, creeks, bunkers and grass bunkers are wisely located to demand strategic

ENTRY FEE
30,000JPY(aproxUS$333.00, 2R of self play, gala dinner ,two lunches and participation into the award ceremony and party are included).

ACCOMMODATION
In the huge site of the golf course, there are 2 types of the accommodation.
Lodge 6,300JPY(aprox 70USD) 1 person, per 1 night. Breakfast is included.
Hotel 8,400JPY(aprox 93USD) 1 person per 1 night. Breakfast is included.
※Single stay for 1 room is plus 2,100JPY(23USD)
PRACTICE ROUND
Practice rounds are available on 24th October, at standard guest fee of the golf club. Participants who want to play practice round should note it on the entry sheet.

PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEE
All participants are requested to complete payment in advance at the reception of the tournament. Payment should be made with cash(JPY only). Credit card and check are not available.
OTHER PAYMENT
Hotel accommodation fee and fee of practice round, etc are requested to be paid at each respective facility either with cash or credit card ( VISA,MASTER or AMEX)
FAMILY MEMBER/FRIEND WHO ACCOMPANIES THE PARTICIPANT
Entry fee of the person who accompanies the participant is 9,000JPY (aprox 100USD.Gala dinner,two lunches,and participation into the award ceremony and party are included). Payment should be made with the entry fee of the participant in advance.
LANGUAGE
Official events of the tournament are held in Japanese. Several English-Japanese interpreters will be available. During competition, English interpretation will be provided upon necessity. The documents such as rules and programs are also prepared in English.
TRANSPORTATION
The closest airport from hotel/golf course is Tokyo International airport(Narita). From the airport, take Express Airport Narita to Chiba Station. Transfer JR SOTOBO LINE to Honda Station. You will be picked up there by hotel bus or take a taxy. Depends on the time of your arrival.
We will let each participant know the details by e-mail before coming to Japan

◊If you are interested in visiting other places for sightseeing such as Tokyo, you are requested to do all necessary arrangement by yourself. The organizer is always happy to provide information and advice.
◊If you want to visit Tokyo City, it takes only 1 hour from Honda Station(15 minutes from the golf course) to Tokyo Station by express train.
